Throughout his full and varied career, Jonathan has worked alongside some of the world’s best stylists in an award-winning salon in Sydney, Australia, and undertaken multiple expert cutting and advanced hairdressing courses in Holland and London.

Salon manager Max has been in the industry for over 30 years and is renowned for her technical cutting skills and prowess with both women’s and gents’ styling.

Becky has been in the hairdressing industry for 25 years and a stylist at David & David Hair Salon for 11. She is a creative stylist who has a passion for experimental high-fashion styles.

Sue is one of our senior hair stylists and has been a valued member of the team for 15 years. She has been hairdressing for over 30 years and oversees the education of our apprenticeship scheme as well as being one of our curl-by-curl specialists.

Hair styling is a real passion for Gemma and her creativity shines through in everything she does. Gemma has a passion for learning new things and this thirst has given her a wide range of skills including barbering, wedding hair and Gemma is also one of our curl-by-curl specialists.

Chloe has now been with David & David for nine years and especially loves colouring hair and creating incredible hair transformations to wow her clients. She also excels at highlights and colouring.

Phoebe loves the diversity that hairdressing brings, and she especially enjoys making people feel great about themselves as she creates beautiful and contemporary styles for her loyal clients. Phoebe is also one of our talented curl-by-curl specialists.

Talented Becky has been in the hairdressing industry for over 16 years. Within that time she has trained in London and Manchester, and also gained valuable experience working in top salons in Australia where she furthered her craft and found a real passion for hair dressing.

Alison has been a popular hair stylist in Plymouth for many years. She has a wide skill set, but specialist cutting techniques are a real passion of hers. She has particular interest in curly hair and loves nothing more than helping transform clients’ hair into something fabulous, manageable, and so very ‘them’.

Chloe is one of our talented young stylists and has a passion for creating perfect blonds, blended balayage and all aspects of creating incredible colour solutions for clients who know what they want. Chloe loves making her clients feel special and loves creating ‘glam’ styles.

Emily is one of the most hard-working and conscientious young stylists we have had here at David & David. She is a true professional and nothing is ever too much effort for this superstar stylist. We are looking forward to seeing where her blossoming career will take her.

This talented and creative hair stylist has a great flair for cutting and colouring and takes pride in making his loyal clients look and feel fabulous.

Dan has a particular passion for highlighting, precision cutting and gents barbering and aims to please everyone he meets – his enthusiasm is contagious.

Always smiling, our lovely receptionist Tayler has a gorgeous sunny personality (and a penchant for fluffy sliders!) and nothing is too much trouble for her.

She’ll be the first to welcome you as you come into the salon, ensuring that you are comfortable, and to arrange your favourite drink and slice of cake.

Loveable cockapoo Digby joined the salon family in 2017 when he was a doe-eyed puppy of just 10 weeks old, and has made himself a comfortable fixture of the salon ever since!

Clients love giving him a stroke when they come in for their hair appointments, and he loves nothing more than getting some love (and sometimes naughty treats) from all the lovely clients who pay him a visit.
